I got the new Shiloh book today in the mail, and was looking at the Military 1874 rifle and said I need on of them! wife said how much? I said $2100 and it will take 18 months. She said minus the down payment you will only have to put up $95 a month and we can go and get it when it is ready, always wanted to go to Montana. Not bad for a wife is it?no wonder I have keept her around for 53 years.

Not too many of them wives around....THANK GOD I've got one!!

You know you can go out there and pick out what you want then go pick it up. that way you can drool twice over everything, then drool over your new rifle!!

Definitely sounds like a keeper.

Mine told me we could move back to Alaska. I am going to take her up on that offer.

My wife used to be that way. Then I made her sleep on the couch so my new Quigley had a place to stay. That was the end of that.

Nah, Im just kidding. I couldn't resist a joke. You do have a good woman to say that. May yall have each other for many, many more years to come.

Yeah, Freightman, you've definitely got a keeper. Just wish my wife felt that way. However, she does insist on me getting something for a rifle I plan on building (with the current situation of the guberment). She just wants me to buy everyting with cash so there's no record of my purchase. Think unregistered receiver. BC

i dunno,,, she's waay too good at math.
figuring out monthly payments and a down payment that quick.
probably a lot easier to just work with her.

I visited Shiloh and C. Sharps in Big Timber in October of 2003. Shiloh delivered my 50/90 aka BIG FIFTY Long Range Express in February 2005.

IF you can swing it, you want to go visit...and pick up your rifle...around Fathers Day so you can attend the Quigley shoot in Forsyth...about 250 miles east on the interstate. IF I can go there...pending divorce!...2013 will be my 9th year at the Q. Going to SHILOH is like going back home to visit the family farm and the cousins that you love, but see too rarely. Whether you buy a ball cap or a rifle, you are made welcome. SHILOH has a great web site and enthusiastic fans.

There are a lot of things to do on the trip...I usually go past the HOLE IN THE WALL, the FETTERMAN MASSACRE site, and the LITTLE BIG HORN site. Take at least two weeks...it won't be enough, but you'll be back again.
