Have got the t/c cherokee shooting .500-.550 groups at 40 yards. Cant shoot it any tighter than this, with the open sights. Cant beleave how much fun i have shooting it. Havnt tried it at 100 yards yet, but it is very accurate at short range. Am using home made .311 balls from lee mold, walmart muslin patch, .010 23 grains pyrodex p and rws cap. Patch/ball slides very easy down the bore, makes it nice, 15-20 shots with no loss of accuracy. The one key ingrediant ive found, is t/c bore butter patch lube. Nothing else ive tried will shoot as good. Only bad thing i can say about this gun is that it is real loud!!!! Dont know if its the short 24 inch barrell,or the small caliber, but is has a very sharp crack, similar to a magnum hanggun. At the 50 grain max level, it is totally obnoxious!

I see you have dropped your charge and getting the results needed. One of them has been on my list for too long. Please keep posting and let us know how she progresses, you're giving me back the itch.

Your 23gr load will be giving you the best part of 2000fps so that is why it sounds like a .22 WMR. Anything more than 25gr in a .32 (especially a 24 inch barrel) is just burning powder and I doubt the recipient would be any the wiser. :-D

100 yards is a long way for a 45gr RB. You may be disappointed with the results. The .32 is really in its element out to 50 yards or so.

Keep having fun.

If you plan to squirrel or rabbit hunt with that 32, a 2000 fps load doesn't leave much meat for the pot. Mostly just hair and hide.

As to 100 yard shooting the gun will do it if you can. The big thing is reading the wind at that range as a gust will take you completely off the Buffalo at 100 yards.
