This morning at 6:30 as I stood in line to vote at the local library, I looked down, and what did I see in the seam between the concrete sidewalk and asphalt paved access road, a lonely wheel weight. I had no choice but to pick it up and place it (dirt and all) in my pocket.

Very good LabGuy. You got that evil, poisonous lead out of the ecological system. Now you have to find a way to get rid of it. I recommend about 1200fps myself.
