I must have an extra hole in my head that slowly leaked the old brains out...or as my wife asked...you ever had any??

But I just a few hours ago traded my Kimber Grand Raptor II for a CMMG in 300Blk. I haven't traded or sold a gun since 1992.. or maybe 1993.
Trade was made, with a 3pt Blackhawk sling and cleaning supplies I needed thrown in.
Still can't believe I did it, I just bought me a new 1911 yesterday, and seen this 300 sitting there....it kept calling my name. I could hear it at my house, 9 mi from me.

I must be an addict, I've got my fix for now and haven't had the shakes or jitters for a couple of hours now!!

Ha! I did your trade in reverse a couple years ago. Traded off a bone stock S&W M&P-15 for a Grand Raptor. I think I did ok.

Don't know that I'd trade a 1911 for one but 300 BO rifles are a blast to shoot. Making brass is not, just processed 250 5.56/.223's yesterday into 300 BO.

Unless you have lots of time and enjoy this kind of thing, buy your brass.

Hey, contact Grumpa on here about brass. I have a thousand of his and they are absolutely PERFECT. Made from commercial or military 223 / 556. Factory brass is not this consistent.

Just take my advice....if you get online to do a show and tell, proof read everything you write before you post!!

I've got so many 1911's, I've forgot whaqt I got. I still have NIB's in the safe I come across all the time. i've got several Kimbers, and the Raptor I shot 3 clips thru. I didn't lose any money on the deal, and right now don't have the money to buy the 300 blk.
Processing brass gives me an excuse to hide from the wife.

Ya I seen grumpa advertise on here. I myself like to process brass, though. I've got to have a knee replacement probably right after the 1st of the year, I'm planning on taking my sweet time getting back to work this time around, so I'll have probably all winter to get 10-20k made up

I have a few on the fence of trading/selling. They have been on the fence for some time. I just cant seem to let em go, so now I'm looking at a second/bigger safe for the ones I have.

Now you need to find one of those Lee 309-230-5R molds to play with.

Nothing every gained by getting rid of a good 1911.

i have a gun shop call me when anything interesting comes in. I am truly addicted. Just picked up an H & R .32 S&W pistol made in 1903 in mint shape for a song.

Here's one. I've been looking, casually,for a S&W Mod 14 or an earlier K38Masterpiece. OK..
Up jumps a really old one, in mint cond - like 1951 old. Now, I'm gonna spend twice what I was going to and it's gonna pain me to shoot this gun. I'm gonna do it, but it's gonna hurt. I'll have to be very nice... enjoy Mike

Nah, I got alot of Kimbers, i never shot that one, and right now, with the coal economy like it is and me looking at knee replacement after the first of the year, I couldn't just go buy the 300 blk. But I did get me the American Classic.

Actually I don't miss it, I didn't like to shoot it, due to some mind/ brain thingy with it. At least the 300 I'll shoot.
I was still dumbfounded though, I actually traded a gun. It'll be the last trade, I went aginst my "will never sell or trade" pact I have with myself.

I havent sold or traded a gun in 20 years but I think you did well. You will love that 300 BLK. I have taken a few pigs already with mine. Dropped each one in their tracks Also got a coyote with it.

Thanks Crawdaddy, I'm looking forward to getting it out...sometime. Got alot going on right now and some medical setbacks that need dealt with first. But hopefully soon i'll be processing some brass and getting it loaded up.
