I`m wanting to try out the RCBS 32-170FN mold for my 32 win. special. I`d like to try out some bullets before commiting to the mold. Someone sent me some to try but their weighing 187gr. Now don`t get me wrong here because I trully appreciate him sending me some but i`m thinking their gonna be too heavy. Anyhow, i`m looking for a recommended supplier or someone here that sells `em so I can buy some to try. Any suggestions ?

Try here http://www.missouribullet.com/details.php?prodId=175&category=6&secondary=&keywords=

Not RCBS or gas checked, but might be what you need.

I'd try them even though they are heavy. Cast boolits need to be a little heavy for caliber. I don't think you'd even notice it. That's why I load 200 grain boolits for my .30-06. They're heavy for the caliber and shoot really nice out of my M1 Garand. Just a thought. BC

Not to heavy by any means,RCBS rates them with lino, if ww + 2% tin or so they will be in that range with gas check and lube. Thats one of the best boolits for the 32 win. there are others as you will be told about I'm sure.

The alloy mix in these bullets is 50/50 ww & range lead. So I really have no idea what's in 'em

Gardner's also sells these sized .323" for use in 8x57 Mauser. I use them and they can be very accurate in the Persian 98/29 and the Swedish rolling block 8x58RD.

That weight will be just fine. It's very common for molds to throw heavier than advertised with softer alloy.

This is a common problem. I have a 311041 that after GC and lube come in over 180. It is supposed to be 173. My pre 64 Winchester loves this boolit.

I would follow the advice of others and shoot them. I wouldn't go to top of reloading data with your powder, at the same time you should be fine going to the midpoint if the data without problems.

Let us know how they work.

Burch - I was gonna say, before you do anything else, try shooting them. Ten grains is really no big deal. You can likely keep whatever load you were going to use and go see what happends. enjoy Mike

Any suggestions ?

Load 'em and be happy. They ARE lubed and checked, correct? That weight is about what mine casts at also. Regards, Woody

Shoot em up.
I think your worrying about nothing.
Every mold I have casts heavier than advertised and all shoot good.
