North to Alaska!

My wife has been wanting to buy a bigger house.

Today she said we could buy one in Alaska! We will head up next summer.

October 28th is a new holiday here![smilie=l:

Anchorage area. Or out towards Palmer. Daughter does violin so lessons in Anchorage. Wife wants to be near civilization. I'm just glad to move back.

I had almost given up but my wife decided to send the kids to school for one semester, they are home schooled, cause she wanted a break and they needed a taste of the real world. It was real hard for her and she felt guite a loss for a while. I told her I understood I felt that way about leaving Alaska. That sense of loss, I love the place.

It was like a light a went on in her head. She lived there for longer than me and it clicked for her. After that I found her looking at houses up there....

Just noticed your TRIBE thread. Looking at the smiles with fish, those kids will love being raised in alaska. All of mine were raised in NM, but two out of the three wound up here, with no plans of going back, the other landed in florida, go figure. lol
