I thought they were 9mm, they were in a Winchester 9mm box. Head stamp is WCC 11 and some symbol I can't make out. My camera dosen't do good on detail. Thanks in advance.

Need a full set of measurements. There are half a dozen 9mm cases out there. Who knows how many the govt. had loaded for whatever reason.

Sounds like you have Winchester Cartridge corp. Nato brass. WCC used to be western cartridge corp but was bought by Winchester. The mark look like a circle with a cross? That is the Nato mark. Bill

All measurements are the same as 9mm.

I was pretty sure WCC was Western Cartridge Company. I'll have to take a closer look at the mark.

My guess would be that they are Military made by Western Cartridge Co, or winchester, and the 11 is the year stamp as in 2011. The other mark that you describe is most likely the Nato mark.

Best wishes,

Joe

I would guess it is W-W white box ammo. Some of it has been sold with a military type headstamp in the last ten or so years, I don't remember for sure if the NATO mark is on it or not.

Are the primers crimped in?

That matches up with the box the empties were in. I'm not sure how to identify crimped primers. My question is, can I load and shoot them as 9mm Luger?

I would load it the same as military brass. Twenty years ago a friend and I ran several thousand WCC 9mm cases through a Dillon SDB with only an occassional hangup due to primer crimps not being removed.
