IToday was the first day for early voting! There was no line, but the poll workers said that the number of people voting had been steady all day. No crowds, but no slack time either. That is good! Agood turnout probably means that people are tired of the current administration, and want a change.

I Did My Civic Duty!! Now it's your turn!! GO VOTE!!

I did the deed last week. It would have been nice to do it in a battleground state.

How do you guys think the early vote will go? I always thought the early vote would go heavy for Obama.

I voted early once (absentee, the only way to vote early in MN).
I voted for Jon Grunseth for Governor.
MY VOTE DIDN'T COUNT.
an October surprise made him leave the race about a week before the election.

He now lives in Tasmania ?!? Well what the heck ? I didn't know that til I searched out the Wiki.

I think all this early voting is what is getting us in trouble. The only way I think any kind of early voting should take place is absentee, with really good reason.

I'd rather do what I had to do to get to the polls on the 2nd Tuesday in November than vote absentee. Those are the easiest ballots to 'mislay' or do other unsavory things with.

In MO that is the only early voting method.

Saw a study on ballot security and supervision for all the states. Over half showed to be weak, needing improvement on ballot handling and counting. Of course there is no voter fraud in the US or Venezuela.

I voted yesterday, and I was happy to see there wasn't a single Obama sign on the grass at my polling place. There were 2 Romney/Ryan signs.

We have vote by mail here. Mine was in the mail yesterday.

My wife's best friend's daughter just turned 18. She said she was excited to get to vote, but today admitted that she forgot to register.:(
