I cast some Lee C312-155-2R bullete up the other night .
WW water droped ,GC, lubed and then tumble lubed with the Lee stuff

I thought it should work great in the 303 not just the 762-39.
For my #4 mk1 ,that I mounted a scope no so I could hit anything.
I loaded 20 gr of AA5744 in a fire formed neck sized only case , seated to the crimp grove.

No idea of speed but I was geting 2-3" groups at 100 yds and the steel gongs at 200 were ringing most of the time. ( A ***** shot my Crony)

I just loaded up 10 more each at
20 - 25 gr in 1 gr jumps

Have to see how the loads group

Way to go! Is this your first chrony shooting? Mine has taken several gas checks over the years, but I have never managed to center punch it yet. I made a steel platform and screens for mine, and these tend to stand up to the pounding a bit better.
I'm starting to think that shooting a chrony, is like dry balling a muzzleloader. There are those who have, and those who are going to.

.............Two to 3" groups at 100 yards ain't bad atall. Especially not for the first time out an all. With that slug, there aren't too many options as to where to crimp it, is there :D ?

If you were sizing them to .312", you might try the Lee C312-185R. A good boolit also.

He cut the wire bundle running to the back pick up.
I an going to send it in to see if it can be fixed .

I have a Lyman 200 gr mold that is what I normaly use.
This rifle is accurate with just about anything I put in it .(it's not me)
And I have found AA 5744 to shoot great in most guns with CB.
I even loaded a 123 gr jacked bullet at 2900 fps and shot woodchucks .

For me tumble lubing with the LEE LIQUID ALOX after I lube and size makes a world of differance .
Maybe it's all in my head ,but it can't hurt.
