Can anyone tell me what the ballistic coefficient of the RCBS 30-180-SP is shot at about 1500 to 1700 feet per second.

I am trying to get some sight settings for high power silhouette. Or better yet does anyone have sight settings for a 200 yard zero using a 190 to 200 grain bullet at 1600 fps. i.e. using the 200 yard target the 330 yard setting hits 15 inches high, the 385 yard setting hits 40 inches high, and the 550 yard setting hits 80 inches high.

They allow sight in at the match but I would like to be able to hit within 5 feet low or 3 feet high. They have sand berms around the target with grass below and above the berm. My spotter would hopefully see the bullet strike in the sand.

Thanks

Hi fa38,

I shoot High Power Silhouette as well. We shoot on a reduced distance, reduced sized target range. Chickens at 200y, pigs 240y, turkeys 280y and rams 320y. I shoot both a 7-08 and a 30-06 with cast. The 30-06 setting with a Lyman 311299 bc 0.377, 205g boolit at approx 1600fps is as follows. c 0, p 3, t 8 and r 14. Those are minutes of angle. I hope that helps you.

Up about 6-7 minutes to 200.To go to 300 add the same MOA.This is with most 180-200g 30 calibers with a a non flat meplat @ about 1600.
