View Full Version : Leading from my cast boolits? Not that I can see

I am shooting cast boolits in my CZ 82. I have put close to 100 rounds through it and I have found not sign of leading in the barrel. IS this because of the polygonal rifling?

Rifling type isn't going to prevent leading. I can guarantee that if you use an undersized bullet it will lead.

It isn't leading because the bullet fits, the lube is good, and the alloy can handle the pressure.

Probably not. It's because when cast boolits are the right size, have a suitable lube and are of a suitable alloy for the velocity / pressure they don't lead

I was typing when you posted. Great minds think alike, apparently so do we.
