A good loading manual will give you all sort of loads with H110 and other powders. The loads have been tested and are safe. Stuff you get here are just our opinion and most have not been lab tested. Split for a manual!

Are you asking for Boolit alloy recipe or load recipe here?

I think he needs an alloy recipe. I never used lino or shot so it is up to you guys with experience using those metals. He has to be careful or will get too hard.

Are these head shots on the newt ..or body shots?

Are they European newts? Or African newts?

I have a hunch those newts are as big as the domestic pig the kid shot!

Id try mixing your range lead and linotype 5050 if your range lead has some harder alloys in it. If its most pure lead swadged bullets shot at your range or jacketed bullets. Id consider 75/25 lino/range lead. Pushing a handgun to 1400 fps without leading can be done. But your gun will need to have a decent barrel decent alignment and have a proper sized bore and chambers and you will need a decent lube.

i have a freedom arms.453 bore 454 throats.I loaded some straight range lead,i guesstimate the vel. was 1400 no leading, wondering if its hard enough for the pressure.I guess the target will tell.or maybe just your average newt could let me know.

truckboss,

Shoot em, I like the load myself. I have just loaded some 310gr .430dia boolits for my 44Mag they should be around 1275fps. I bet they (my loads) will work real good on deer sized game to 75 to 100 yards.

I also have some 440gr .501 dia loads that go around 1375fps from my 4" 500S&W. I plan to use it someday on deer, but will keep the range well under 500 yards... :) More like 50 to 75 yards for me and open sights.
