I have had great success with the Lee .358 RNFP 125 grain sized to .357. Stay away from the Lee 124 grain truncated cone. That boolit is very problematic.

+1 to the LEE 125 gr. RNFP
I size mine to .358.

The LEE 125 gr. 2R is another good boolit. Mine drops at .358 on the parting line and just under
on the small side. shoots well, groups well.

The LEE TC mold, both the conventional mold and the TL mold drop too small. Same with the LEE
125 gr. TLRN.

+1 more for the Lee 125gr RNFP, I size mine .357". They feed great in my guns and have proven to be very accurate.

Lee 356-120 TC standard lube groove is HIGHLY recommended. It works extremely
well in many different 9mms in my experience. Some have issues with the RN versions
due to tight throats, rifling hitting the ogive. TC eliminates this issue. Avoid the TL
designs with 9mm, they can be made to work, but seem to cause trouble for many.

I recommend you read the sticky on "Setting up a new 9mm for boolits". May save
you some time.

I've used the Lyman #356402 for many years, its a truncated cone weighing in at 120 grs depending on alloy. It will feed through any 9mm out there. I also use the same bullet in my 38 special revolvers, just size it to .358". Great for plinking or small game.

I'm a big fan of the Lee 358-105-swc. I size them to .357 and seat them pretty deep, almost to the shoulder. Good accuracy with light loads.

I didn't have much problem with the 358 mold in my 75, but had to load it really short. Once I found out the 356 2r mold drops at 360, I switched to that as it gives a bit more leeway with powder charge volumes and has the round nose profile. I had one jam with the RF in my P01, none so far with the 2r.

I have good luck out of the 120gr TC. The 125gr Round nose will not work in my kimber 9mm. The bullet contacts the rifling before it goes into battery. The bullet works well in my .38 super barrel though so if you want to try it make sure you have enough freebore before the rifling starts.

Sounds like you need to have your smith kiss the barrel chamber of that kimber to give you a little more throat. LEE's 125gr RN is one of my more accurate boolits for my FEG Highpower.

I agree , the 120gr standard lube groove TC is working well for me in a number of 9mm

in particular a smith model 39 that has had feeding issues with even some factory ammo , but the TC is not a problem

My experience is that Luger P-08 don't like truncated cones (TC) style bullets and prefer round noses. The more vertical handle autoloaders can handle the TC okay. I hope that helps.

Good shooting,

I use the Lee 356-125-2R (# 90457 six banger), in all my 9mm’s. Works great in all my Military Pistols (Luger, C-96, P-38, M-40 Lahti, Sten even the Suomi 31 likes it). My 2 cents you can’t go wrong with the Lee, good to excellent accuracy with it. I don’t really care about accuracy, just want to keep the old war horses feed reliably and cheaply.

The LEE 356-120-TC and 356-125-2R perform perfectly in my CZ 75B. The nod goes to the 125-2R at the target. Lyman 356402 will match either. Consistant best is Lyman 358242. I size all to .358 with WL 2500+
