PS the Red White and Blue are always my favorite colors!

NICE! We just don't see such large scale colour change here. NZ natives are evergreen so we don't have the swaths of deciduous that you guys have. That's why hunting here is hard as the foilage is always full.

Thank you Jeff, we really are blessed in our community. We have an abundance of black bears, deer, turkey, grouse, rabbit, mourning dove, squirrels, grey and red, not to mention the creeks have native brooks. Life is truely good.

most of ours is on the ground too.
and the skies are a medium grey.

We are on Cattail Creek which is the major creek feeding the Cane River in Pensacola. Mount Mitchell is about 3 1/2 miles as the crow flies from the cabin.

It is a nice day hike to go from Mount Mitchell up the ridge trail to Deep Gap and then follow the old logging trails down to our cabin.

I've been to the top of Mount Mitchel, best water I've ever drunk was from the spring near the top. I'm biased but NC is a beautiful state.
