Dryer repair

Belt broke in our 12 yoa Kenmore dryer. I've had the back and top off. Apparently the belt and whatnot is accessed through the front? Anyone up on a website for this stuff?

Did the exact job a year or so ago--why do my dryers last forever (current one is 26+ years old) but washers never seem to make 10 years? I'm thinking water is actually bad for you....Belt replacement was a 1 beer job, but entailed scraped knuckles and mild frustration--those out of sight edges are plenty sharp.
