I just picked up a .41 DW revolver from a shop that likewise had on hand a 2-hole RCBS 210gr (Keith style) mold, so I picked that up as well. How does that bullet rate among the .41 Keith options out there? Looks to have a rather small lube groove.

I haven't even started casting yet, but have the group buy WC and a single cavity Lyman 41028 that looks like it should produce bullets that'll cycle well in my Marlin. We used to have a couple of guys who'd sell cast 210gr .41s at the gun shows but they seem to have quit. Looks like it's about time for me to cast my own.

I had one years ago and it cast well and shot well --to me it is more Keith like --than Keith but I am not so sure what the so called real Keith is -- I have a 2 cavity Saeco and it is a Keith and two Lyman 410459 molds and they are supposed to be Keith but they do look different from each other and the RCBS mold-- as long as they shoot well -- my first handguned deer was with the 410459 so they will kill

kgb,

Try one of those 41028 boolits in the throat of your DW cylinder to see how it fits.

My Ruger BH requires that I full length size the boolit to .410 so they will chamber. Usually I just size them enough to cover the lube bands.

BTW, It does work great in my Marlin.

That and the ballistic cast version which is about identical are about the most consistantly accurate 41 bullets ive found. Its an excellent mold!

The 210 RCBS is an excellent boolit. I have used it with 6.0/231, and it really is pleasant and accurate in my M57. It also shot well at 200m in my DW, using SR-4756. You won't regret buying that mold.
