Hey Guys I am looking for some good ol' load data for the following Boolits all Lee 2 cav molds using WW. and pan lubed with my own lube.

I have the following.
38SPC: 358-158 FN
45ACP: 451-228 RN
308Win/30-06: 309-150GC RN
312-160GC Spitz

If you are familiar with these Boolits and have some load data it would be great if you would share it.

Not a recommendation, but just what works well for me with my weapons.

38S-158 gr-4.5 gr. Unique, comfortable, accurate, cheap to shoot.

308 with either blt you listed, over 20 gr. of 2400 and I use a dac fill, however, suggest you start with about 16 gr and work up a half grain at a time until you reach best accuracy.

I use White lable 50-50 lube for hand gun, and White Lable Can Red or Bens Red for rifle.

Good luck!

there is no actual data for lee boolits.
he used up all the space in his book tellin us all how smart he is.
just use the same boolit weight data for another boolit brand..
but you asked so here.
38 put in 4.5-5 grs of unique.
the 45 put in 6.2 grs unique.
the 308 8-12 grs unique,,,, or 16-18 grs of 2400
30-06 see 308.,,,

Correct. If you get an oddball weight try to match up bearing length with cast data for the same bore and bearing length.

The Lyman Cast books can be used to get you started. You will get a feel for what is safe after a while and your rifle will tell you what it likes. I use the 312-160 in 308 and 30/06 with good results. I use 8 to 11 gr of old Alcan #5 for light loads because I got some cheap and want to use it up. They are mild, accurate loads. I have been using Accurate 2520 also for a load that will work through my Garand, 32 gr with a very small filler lightly placed in the case over the powder and not compressed at all. Without the filler vertical stringing is pretty bad, with filler I get a nice round group. These will function my Garand but they are not full power loads. The Lyman book talks about IMR 3031 for a few weights of boolits and I will be trying that more pretty soon without a filler. I size the 312-160 at .311 and have had no trouble with feeding or leading.

i alway's look for a broad application of a powder over several different boolits then use the bearing length and shape similarity's to determine a charge.
if all else fail i will look at jaxketed loads and the velocity's they produce and the pressure they operate at.
and then either use the data or modify it for my purpose.
