Fall in finally here in North Texas! It's a brisk 50 degrees outside and it feels great! I think I'll build a fine in the fierplace, nah, not yet. But it's a eal relief from the not weather. Maybe we'll even get some rain. Makes me want to get out the cast iron and fix a pot of stew, or chili, or pinto beans and cornbread. Hope this weather stays a while!

calling for temps in the 20's tonight it really did happen overnight too.
70's/40's to low 50's high 20's in one day.

Just north of the river here. High 80's yesterday, barely made 50 today. Oh, built a fire this afternoon. Sure felt good.

Cool enough here in Kansas (46F) to let me cook off some Pinto Bean and Poblano with Beef Chili for supper and the kids didn't mind the heat (ok, so I dropped the heat level about 20 levels from my usual) Even after everyone having a bowl I still have just over a gallon to reheat later on. I'll nuke it up for my own taste later of course.

Yesiree bob. Fall is here and I am loving it. 29 degrees Thursday morning and in the mid 30's in the morning today. Time to dust off the game calls, break out the camo, and do my best to look like a pile of dirt and bushes (or dirty snow depending) while sounding like a dying cottontail being attacked by magpies or crows.

I love this time of year!

Spring here and loving it. Forked over the vege garden today getting it ready. Worms galore; pretty happy about that. Up specced the hot house. Seedlings galore. It's a beautiful thing.

Jeff,

You know we will revisit this thread in our spring and rub it in during your fall... :)
