Hodgdon Clays loads for the 30-30?

Looking to load up some light cast boolit loads for my single-shot break-action and lever-action 30-30s using Clays.

Edit: Using Lee's C309-150-F 150gn Flat-Nose gas check design; I'd prefer not to use checks.

Any help available? Thanks!

without the checks i'd be more inclined to start at about 4.5 grs.

I tried 7.0 of more than a dozen pistol/shotgun powders under a no-check Lee 170 FP. Speed was right at 1200 fps with all of them, including Clays. But accuracy was poor. With a check, it shoots just fine.

I have used 5g with the 308241 150g PB in the 30-30 and it does well.
