Gees Jim you lucky dog! Looks like a heck of a way to spend the last of summer! I haven't caught a single fish since June, to the point of losing the annual family fishing contest to a 6 year old! Catch one for me the next time you get out!

Nice fish,Jim. From a private pond? Catch and release or catch and fry?

Nice fish! I envy you. I haven't made time for fishing in over ten years.

Oh - the least you could have done was shaved when you got up that morning.....

( Way back when I was at a Norton motorcycle rally in Riondel British Columbia I was shaving in the campground washroom. One biker with a big black beard walked in, looked at me and said "you are doing unnatural things to your face sir!" - I thought about it for a moment and suspect he was right.)

One of two ponds on my fishin' buddy's place. Strictly C&R. Suits me, though. I just like gettin' one on the line, that's all.

"Emen a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work." Plenty of stress relief there.

Spend some of that time that you have been saving all these years!

What did you use for bait, brewski or a S&W Triple lock ?

A half of a night crawler on a 4X long #6 hook. No split shot, no float. Just flip it and let it settle.

Nice color, I am also noticing the color of the leaves turning behind you....

You know, just like shootin', a man's gotta make time for fishing lest he go crazy. I do them in equal amounts and even though I fish for salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, walleye, perch, crappie, blugill, yellowtail, wahoo, dorado, stripers, catfish, rockfish, halibut, ling cod, sharks and more, the lowly bass is about my all-time favorite!

Good for you there, man!

Relax. You're welcome to post in any thread I start as often as you want. [smilie=s:

I'm guessin' just about any time now. Truth be told, I really don't know when they quit. Come October 15th, I'm in the woods with the dogs goin' after 'coons! :bigsmyl2:
