The current thread on Loverin bullets got me thinking...
I have an NOE 314299 that I just love, it shoots well in everything I've tried it in.
I'd like to get a similar bullet at .311, and there are so many choices that seem sooooo similar.
I'm looking at 311290, 311291,311331, and 311333. Very minor differences in weight, very similar designs, (all bore riders, correct?)
Two of these have group buys going right now, how to choose which one to get?
Any insight would be appreciated, I'm trying to learn.:lovebooli

the 311299 is the same only less so around.
they are all boreriders.
your nose/body dimensions are critical with the bore riders the nose must engrave the rifling.
unfortunatly lyman now seems to think the 299 designation is for the maximum nose diameter.
and that the 311 is there for lining up the molds on the shelf.
the new ones are generally 309 ish by maybe 299 ish on a good day.

the RCBS 180 sp while lighter than the others is good dimensions and shoots well in all of my 30 calibers. In my 30BR it has shot sub 1/2 MOA.
