Seemed like he was only firing primers. No recoil and it seems that a 410 should be making more noise than that.

Shooting indoors, I should hope they were primers only. I'd be pretty concerned shooting shotshells in copper pipe, but the highest pressure is in the chamber itself, where he's got the heavy brass fittings. It might well work (I've seen video of shooting a 12 ga. shell in a piece of iron plumbing pipe -- basically similar gun, but without the revolving action), and could possibly be better than no gun at all.

Of course, there's still the question of where you'd get shells, or even primers to fire homemade black powder and improvised or reclaimed shot, if all guns were banned...

That is why everyone should be equiped with a flintlock smoothbore of a caliber sufficient to stop a marading Nissan pickup and fire a good shot load. I like the .60's and up.

This is why banning and confiscating guns will never work.

Not the weapon to fight a war with.
It is the weapon to use to get the weapons to fight a war with.
Of course a single shot zip gun would probably be safer.
