Little background. My best friend of 40 years passed away a few years ago. He was like a little brother and I think of his boys as my nephews.

We grew up together from our early teens and his family always treated my like one of the family. When my Mom passed ,when I was 18, his Mom treated me like a son. Said she would be my Mom now, since mine had passed.

Fast forward to today.

Just got a message from one of my nephews telling me that my second Mom, might have only hours left, maybe a day or two at the most. I am in the process of packing now, but would appreciate a few prayers for her passing to be an easy one.

Rock it is always a sad time when this time draws near. Sounds like you have had some good quality time and good memories to think on over the next little while. I pray the good Lord will allow her passing to be easy as you have requested.

Thanks for all your prayers

She passed this evening about 7pm. I made it in yesterday, in time to say goodbye to her. She knew my voice, but was unable to speak or harldy move.

She is in a far better place, with her husband and my little brother.
