Well, I might be bad at this, but here goes.
I'm bad because I can't remember the name of Veral Smith's book - but it is a must!
Lyman's Cast Bullet book.
Keep reading right here.

I got the DVD from Wolfe Publishing of "The Art of Bullet Casting" on recommendation of folk from this site.

It is a compilation of articles from Handloader/Rifle magazine.

FANTASTIC value and content.

Jacketed performance with cast bullets, I think is the title. Gianni

The ABCs of Reloading has a good section on casting. Another vote for the Lyman Casting Handbook

All of the recommended are good, and it pays to collect and read them all along with any others that you can get your hands on. The more you have the more you can learn. New isn't always better, but it pays to keep up to date. Much of the advise of the old timers is words of wisdom, and much of the advise of the come latelys is based on techonology. The combination of both is what I look for.

Youy should look at the book that Joe Brennan is working on. Either the first edition or the new and expanded work that is currently going on. Hopefully Joe will see this thread and give you a link. CBA at one time gave you the first book when you became a member. I will look up the link and post if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

There is good info in the 1958, 1973, and 3rd edition of the Lyman cast bullet handbooks. the former 2 are becoming harder and harder to find. Also look at LASC website.
