Today is the anniversary of September 11. It still gets to me every year. I remember what it was like just hours before. I remember what I was doing, where I was working, what the stupid DJ said on the radio, everything.

One year ago today I found out that my son that is a US Marine made the decision to become a Marine on that fateful day. He dedicated himself to the task, he is now only 22 years old. He once did a report for school about who his hero was, it has come full circle as now he is mine.
