Posted a while ago about my Saeco 24 going bad, needed a new thermostat. Thanks to help on the forum found the part and ordered it in. Took some fitting but got it together and it gets barely hot enough to melt lead???? Took some figuring but realized the thermostat had a limit on the movement of the dial. With the dial pointed at about 600 adjusted the limit so the dial would point past 900 at the highest setting. If I wasn't so cheap I would buy a thermometer and set the dial more precisely, but set at 700m or so casts just fine.

Also have a Lyman that was not working right, after checking everything and finding nothing wrong realized that the black plastic plug that goes into the pot was bad. A quick trip to ACE got a replacement and now both pots work like they should.

Anyway thanks to everyone who offered advice and suggestions on where to get parts.
