I'm jealous,
I've been to AK once ...in Sept. 1997.
I got to stay with relatives in Aniak and fished the silvers at the convergence of the kuskokwim river and the Aniak River.
a vacation of a lifetime !

Fished Heckman Lake and Refection Lake in the Panhandle. Great country. Take rain gear.
Great fishing for cutthroat trout, steelhead and coho salmon.
As the salmon are running there will also be bears....
