I found a pretty accurate load for my XD40 SC, I think. I cast the bullets using wheel weight lead in a Lee, 6 cavity mold. The bullets weight 172 grains and I used 4.4 grains of Power Pistol in Win. cases and used Win. primers. OAL was 1.18 inches. The group was shot at 7 yards from a bench (a metal, folding sawhorse with a wood platform screwed to the top.) The first 4 shots were .87 inches. I got too excited seeing the tight group and pulled the last shot giving a 5 shot group of 1.53 inches. The 4.5 and 4.6 grain loads of Power Pistol grouped 1.36 and 1.15 inches, respectively.
