This internet rumor has been around for a very long time, Soros has ZERO interest in the Cerberus Group, this is a scare tactic that has circulated, and even been posted on this forum several times and been dispelled.

OK, I will remove it and do some more checking.

You are sure?

If you were an NRA member, you would have seen an article about it several months ago in the magazine, saying it was a fake story by the internet commandos.

:kidding:Say it is not true! you are saying that everything posted on the internet "aint" true! my confidence has been shaken to the roots.

After a couple PowerBall wins, ME! :kidding:

Edit: but if I did, I wouldn't change anything for most of them. $150M really wouldn't go too far in buying into the firearms manufacturing, I'd probably just invest heavily with the caveat that I get to assist with R&D testing.

I attempted to track Soros controlled organizations 8-9 years ago. You can't do it. There was a SW program (web site) to link prominent people to others. Put in a name and watch the links grow. Even for a 'good' guy, it looked like a web make by a drunk spider (with links to a lot of 'bad' people). At any rate, Soros doesn't 'own' a lot, but has his money and friends in most everything. Hopefully the results, in the weapons market) won't be as bad as AMF or TYCO.

I worked for a Cerberus owned company for a few years and met a few of the senior Cerberus guys. They are interested in making money, period.

Soros does have his hands in a lot of stuff. I have heard Progressive insurance, Best Buy and some others but have no proof.
Snopes is reputed to be a family run liberal outfit too. I do not trust them.
Be sure Soros is a threat but there is no way to track where his fingers are.

so, this means that the potential is there, but no issues yet.

Let me consult my copy of the Mayan Calendar and see if it is there somewhere...

Like Bill Gates, Heinz and others, a philanthropist, no way to track their influence or funding.

I wish Apple would buy a manufacturer. Then we would see some innovation...and really expensive guns :) Of course they are liberal through and through.
