Good call gear, I sometimes use extra wax to flux when they get thick. I havent had anything dive into my pot yet but i guess you could just skim it off.

yep that what happends when you get anything with water in it wheather it is a bug or some water traped under a jacket of a bullet that b---h the tensel fairy will comes a calling .so lets be safe out there doing our thing D Crockett

Just how did it get under the melt? That's a lot of surface tension to break through. I have slowly submerged wasps into the melt and got a lot of bubbling but no explosion.
