What are you guys using for this mold? I can't find a reference to it anywhere.

Thanks...Shooter

I'm using a homemade one. I cut off a section of 1/4" rod and used a small amount of epoxy on the end to form the top punch cavity. Before that, I used a flat faced punch; as long as you are careful you can size and seat gaschecks on ACWW booilts without distortion.

I think a flat punch will improve the BC of this boolit...and the terminal effect. :-)

Look up "The Professor" on this site. He is a vendor. He makes a hollow base top punch that you fill with epoxy to fit it to your bullet.

Scroll down to the bottom of this page. Click on 'Castpics', then references. Find 'top punches'. Then select Lee to Lyman and RCBS. C312-185-1R is near the bottom. (Lyman #395)
