For those that have used both in 30cal. What is the difference between the two for you, other than price. I have only used the Hornady an I ordered some from Blammer.

I am not a GC snob, I use what I have. Blammer is darn hard to beat on price so I bought 3K last time.

Blammer's gc's are just as good as hornady's in my experience, so price is the only deciding factor

Blammer markets gc's made by a dentist down south. They are clearly the equal if not superior to Hornaday's. I think they may be made of very slightly heavier metal, but I'm not sure.

A few lots of the 30's were a bit to hard/thick and needed to be annealed.it may have been just the one lot. These were from about one year back. When you seated them and ran them and even after in a bump die they never flattened out like Hornady's.Once annealed they were fine. The test was a 30BR (1.5 deg x .310 .100 long throat) in Witchta with a Hart 1-12 barrel.Accuracy for Hornady in 10 shot groups at 200 yards was under 1.5".The annealed others were over 2.5" When annealed they were equal to others.Aluminum home made checks were equal to Hornady's
