Ok I have done some quick research and it does appear to be legit.

Not sure about the accuracy of all the comments and statements.

Short story . . . Man kills neighbors and then in a shootout with police, a citizen uses his weapon to help the police, and possibly saves the officier lives and others in the process.

It's not making national headlines because it doesn't fit the main stream media template that "all guns are evil".

Yup---just ask anyone. I'm flat out lethal against my coffee pot every morning. Once that battle is resolved though, everyone else is relatively safe. ;)
