OK ... I guess I just woke up to the limited supply of gas checks for the 41 Remington Magnum. Have a few Lyman's left from years ago ... but don't find them listed by Lyman or any of their sellers and those same sellers do not show any from Hornady.

Are these just no longer available? Are 41 cal gas checks available from anyone else?

Thanks!

Also looking for a Lyman 366408 mould.

the 41 is an odd deal. Differnt companys cut there molds for differnt sized checks. the horndys are to big for the bullets that use lymans. You have two choises. One is ebay and the other is to get in on the group buys that go on here and buy gator checks. There made in both shank sizes.

Or use Hornady 416 checks. They worked well for me on the NEI mold that I worked up a load for last year. But then I size all of my checks as apposed to some that anneal them.

Another option would be to "hone out" the gas check portion of a lyman die to fit the .416 checks.

I hated the .41 Lyman GC -- so I switched to the Hornady .416 and it worrks fine--also got in on the the last Gater check buy and am waiting on those but .416 checks will work will work

I saw them listed in the latest Midway flyer, but I can't remember which brand.
I do remember .41 being listed though. you may want to look on their site.

the hornadys are to big for lyman and lbt bullets. They will come off in flight. Problem is so do about half the lymans because they dont crimp on. Best bet is to just buy the gators that are the right size and do crimp. There cheaper to boot!!
