Not so common knowledge is a U-boats crew that washed ashore off of Norfolk after their boat was sunk during the war. They were buried in a small cematary there till they were exhumed much later and sent back home to Germany. My son found out about this when he was stationed there with his wife quite afew years ago.Robert

The German sabatours that landed on Long Island during WW2, Landed a short hike from my gun club. Back then there werent many people living that far east on Long Island..
