I read an article on this via the internet. The State guys were worried about his safety and experience. They interviewed him via telephone. He gave them a rational explanation, answered their concerns, and they were satisfied. A bowhunter with knowledge of the area and expertise in what he was doing. For the State guys, end of story. Just a bowhunter using some unorthodox methods (in certain peoples' eyes) to try out his hunting skills. His whole intent, from what the State guys said, was trying to move in as close as possible for a humane kill. The media will continue to dredge this up for whatever reason. IMHO, just a media created event to capitalize on mass hysteria.
