For us British shooters it was ruined when the goverment banned pistol shooting...

Still to save face in the world of sport they did allow a few select people to train for the pistol events...

I fear it'll happen... the Scottish Parliment has had airgun legislation devolved to them... and top of the priority list is airgun licencing and that's for 12 ft pounders..... (6 Ft Lbs for pistols)

If / When independance arrives we'll see more restrictions - we don't need the English to "Take Our Freedom" we have the Scottish Nationalist Party to do that..... Smoking Bans, Min. pricing of alcohol, reduced speed limits, Increased taxes (for those that work of course)....

I'd rather see Scotland annexed by the U.S. as the 51 State....:lol:

i do think that if scotland, australia. and some other countries realy kicked the british control. they would be much like the u.s. was when we did it. our problem is we have forgotten why we rebelled. we have raised two generations of wellfaire takers working on a third. we have a class of people that are scard to stand on their own two feet. they must have everything oked by some government head. they are scared to live.

actually its the fact we have not kicked the whole British thing is the main reason we still have some rights. If and when we become a republic (god forbid) we will only be given back those rights the elected socialist Govenment want us to have. The only way to have what America has is to do as you guys did, take it at bayonet point, but alas true Australians are a dying breed we are the minority.

Just got through watching indoor volleyball, where Team USA beat the ChiComs in a 3-out-of-5 contest. Team USA won the first three games to retire the Chinese.

No, no skimpy bikinis, but damn, our indoor volleyball players are not just determined competitors, but also beautiful, athletic women. At least two of them should be models, especially Destinee Hooker. Not only did she just clobber the ChiComs about a million times with what must have been supersonic spikes, but she is also absolutely lovely on top of it. Seriously, this woman could easily have a second career as a model if she wanted.
