I want to start casting for my 460 Mag. I am dead set on using a gas check. I see a .452 mold from RCBS and LYMAN for a 300 grain, and a 6 cavity from Lee for a 325 grain. I like the idea of the heavier one and the 6 cast at a time, but I can't find a reference anywhere for the top punch to use in my sizer for the 325 grain. Does anyone know where I can locate that info, or have a different boolit suggestion for me to use?

Trying to revive this post so maybe I can get some help with this problem. I know someone has to know the answer.

1. What bullet molds are you using (by number)? For example, I think you mean the C452-300-RF for the 300 gr boolit, but that's an assumption.

2. What lubrisizer are you using?

3. Take a look at the SAECO bullet mold chart on Redding's site. It looks like the top punch 45424 (for the SAECO lubrisizer)/46550 (for Lyman and RCBS lubrisizers) might work.

4. Contact ThePerfessor for a custom top punch. Not sure, but I think others here make them, too.

Here's a nice reference of top punches, but I'm not sure if it has the bullet you mentioned. http://www.castpics.net/subsite/TopPunches/Lee.html
Does Lee make a 325 grain 45 caliber bullet?
