I load and shoot a lot of 38 spl (LWC) and 357 (LSWC) lighter loads in my S&W model 66.

I hear all this talk about leading and don't see any.

I usually shoot a few factory GC 357's through each time I am at the range just for giggles.

Does shooting these GC rounds help clean out any leading?

Yes, a gc bullet can scrape small deposits of leading out of a barrel.

Leading is a complex issue, be happy you aren't seeing any and stick with your combination of alloy, lube, sizing and load.
