I was looking for a plinking load for my 500 Jeffery:-P I Emailed Tom at Accurate Mold and asked for a 700 grain tumble lube WFNGC in an aluminum mold. The mold is beautiful, its a three banger with the trough sprue plate, and casts beautiful boolits.

I am using WW with 2% tin added and 45/45/10 and load them down to 1950 fps. They are hunting accurate, and don't lead my barrel. I know I am pushing the limits of tumble lube, but took a chance and so far so good.

The Boolit went 18" in wet news paper, and the recovered weight was 683 grains, expanded diameter was 1.076

GOOD LORD! Whats the recoil like, touching off both barrels of a 12ga at the same time? How much powder and which powder? LOL

LOL! The recoil is not too bad, its an 11 pound rifle so that helps. The jacketed 600 grainers at 2400 fps are stout! And expensive. I'm using 102 grains of H 4350 for this load. I'm good for 20 or so shots in a single session, single digits with the 600's

I hope you're able to recycle your boolits! Big ole slugs like yours mustl run you out of boolit alloy pretty darn fast if you don't.

Without a doubt. After a range session you can find me digging for my boolits in dirt bank. I always carry my E-Tool in the truck.
