There was a thread a few days ago about using Johnson Paste Wax as a lube. Just the wax. Am I to understand that it works as well as the usual mixtures bought or compounded here????????

Paraffin is fine to use a hardener, just do not make it a major% of the mix.. It is kind of like garlic...it should be used to spice a dish, not flavor it....

I believe it's supposed to be in Johnson's paste wax. Lars45 (white Label Lubes) might sell you some, or know where to get it. If you were to choose to buy his Carnauba Red lube you couldn't go wrong either.
