45 Win Mag

i have a revolver that's a 45 win mag and 450 express mag convertable [would be 45 colt too if i could ever find the other cylinder]
i like it just fine.

Great hunting cartridge.

Can be a handful to shoot if loaded to its' potential.

i'd call it a 454 casull in a case designed for semi-auto's.
kind of strange as it's in a revolver.
i make the cases by turning the rims down on 454 cases,and trimming them to length.
they headspace on the case mouth.
and use about 32 grs of h-110 with a 250 gr boolit.
they were made when dick was working with N.A.A., before he broke off and started freedom arms,and naa went on to make the mini revolvers.
