Shot the 7-30 ,14" contender today. using 33-34-35 & 36 grains of imr 4064. I got 2 to 4" patterns at 50 yards. 36 grain load was compressed and seemed to push the bullets out to a longer OAL than the lighter loads. I guess I'll try some WW748 next. This makes 2 different calibers and 2 powders that I've tried with the Lee Soup Can with less than spectacular results. All loads had an unexplained flyer. Also the scope is a 4x leupold. Sand bag and front rest set up.
