Pewter question

I have recently started mining local thrift stores and flea markets for pewter. I have come up with about 15 to 20lbs and spent around $13.00 total. I have a question for some of the metalurgist out there. In the older pewter is there any significant lead content and what is the newer stuff made of?

There are several threads on this particular forum concerining pewter. Do a search on it to come up with them. You can also "Google" composition of pewter and come up with some answers. I have pewter of various age, and I really can't answer your question. I have made alloys out of pewter for casting, and they have turned out really well.
