Anyone know what this might be

I got this from my son. Been sitting in his barn for God knows how long. Dropped it on the concrete and it rang like a bell. Haven't had a chance to do any hardness testing. It has some gouges in it so I don't think it is zinc. I'll check the hardness and post back.4524545246
