wish i could come to. I havent been to one in a few years now. Moneys tight and my back wont allow for that long of a trip.

I've never been to one so I'm not qualified to comment.
I know there will be penetration test involving different firearms and loads.

I might run in there. I like John. Hes a heck of a nice guy and a neighbor of mine. We get together and BS once in a while.
The man sure knows his stuff.

Darn. Thats Clark Jubilee weekend. I might not make it to Cody.
Oh well. I was in town a couple weeks ago and that was enough. I only go to town about 3 times a summer. Not much of a city person.

.500 Linebaugh and .475 Linebaugh make up the bulk of his work.
I did see two Ruger #1's converted from .375 H&H to .500 Linebaugh by John. Got to shoot them, too!

We shot at the range SE of Powell, out to 900 yards on the steel buffalo.
Some even hit it.

I stayed at John's while I was there. Even stopped at Jubilee days on the way through Saturday morning and watched the parade. Had a long talk with Larry Dodge.
Folks at Clark sure are nice.

And the best part was, waiting on John's porch, Thursday night at 1052 pm I howled once (interrogation howl with a cow horn howler) to see if i could get any coyotes to respond.
About 1102 pm a lone wolf howled within 200 yards north of the house. Kind of made my neck hairs stand up!
Been killing coyotes for 40 years. It was a wolf for sure. He howled once. Long and deep.

Larry is my Dad. I was setting up the paint ball. Its a small world.

You should have watched the rodeo Sunday. My daughter won the cow ride with a score of 80. She beat 20 other cowboys including Cole Linebaugh. We have awesome pics and video.

I have to run up to Johns before long. Hes going to work a 44 for me.

PS... When you get good at the 900yd buff, give me a call. We have a 12"x 12" plate at 1000yds.[smilie=s:
