I'm going to be needing a new mold for the 9mm. We hear lots of good things about the Lee 6 cav 9mm molds, and I'd be fine with one of them. The only thing is, I need the boolits to drop out at .358. I'm thinking the chances of that are not good. This leaves me, right now, getting one of the little beauties from Accurate.

Anybody ever see a 356-whatever Lee mold drop boolits as big as .358 ??
enjoy Mike

My Lee 356-125-2R drops at .358". Alloy is roughly equivalent to what Rotometals calls "Hardball"

You can use lee 357 bullets in your 9, and they usually drop .358-359". I've shot the 105gr swc out of a 9 and it works very well. The 125 rf would be another mold I'd give a try in the 9.

My Lee 6Cv 356120TC from WW+tin cast out at .358, my 356125RN cast out at .360. However, my 9mm's are all happy with sizing to .356, .358 bullets will not freely chamber in them. YMMV

Ditto.
I size them to .356.

All of the lee 9mm molds I've owned have dropped bullets between .358 and .359 consistently.

I have only owned the 6 cavity versions, but that has included the 124 grain (three different molds, all the same result), the 110 grain and the 102 grain versions. (They no longer make the 102 in 6 cavity, and don't make the 110 at all AFAIK)
