Is anyone casting with the Lee 356-111-1R for 9mm? I can't find loading data for the 111 grain boolit. I would have thought the Lee modern reloaders book would have had info but it doesn't:veryconfu

Use 115 grain load data, way plenty close enough. You do have multiple load books,
right? If not, go to Hodgdon's web site. They have data for IMR, Win and Hodgdon
powders.

Handloads.com also has some info for various calibers...

I must have used thousands of those through my cz75 and also in 38 special revolvers. Yes use 115gr load data, or a nice low load in 38 special great for kids and new shooters.

I use it with 3.6 BE and 4.2 Unique for light loads. They seem to work well but I have gone to the 356402 121gr with 4gr BE. It seems to preform better. Just MHO.

I used the 115 gr. Data and went with 5.9 of AA#5. Went to the range today and tried them in my S&W 5906. Horrible, it jammed about every 3rd round. Would not cycle the action sufficiently.

Looking on the Handloads.com site, it appears that you can go up to 7.0 gr with a JHP. Using a cast lead bullet (especially one that is slightly lighter), that should still give you some room before max pressure was reached. Add a bit more powder and try it again...

I'm thinkin of trying 4.6gr of HP-38. I use HP-38 for loading 45 ACP and have been very happy.

Probably a good starting point... Looking at the Handloads.com data, they have HP-38 starting at 4.6 and going to 5.1 for a 115 gr 9m bullet...
