PM character limit

There's 5000 character limit when sending PM's. After writing a long post with not my first language, after checking some details and such for it from few websites, after correcting thousands of mistypings twice, after editing all that and after checking by previewing everything seems to be okay, I find it quite annoying to notice that submitting says that there's 5247 characters and that's 247 characters too much. I pulled myself from the swamp by deleting the quote, but I really want the limit to be 5247. :-). Or maybe it could be 10k easily? I promise to type only less than 5000 characters from now on. Please?

Finn, 5000 characters? That's beyond my capabilities. I don't have the endurance to type 2500 characters with each of my two computer fingers in one sitting. Also, my wife would be demanding her turn at the computer long before I finished.

Dell has a pretty good computer with monitor and printer on sale for $299; HP has a similar setup for $249. Give her a personal, exclusive use computer.

A 5,000 char story is pretty darn big. But.. Ask and ye shall recieve. I will jack it up to 6,500 chars.
