My buddy Roger and me brought home 30, caught at least twice that many.

Too bad I'm too far away to invite myself to the fish fry :-)

Nice eating as well, can't work out which lake that is from the background. :?::?::?:

I could tell you it's the Little River, but then I'd have to kill you.

Too many race boats on the P-tank.

10 second perch cleaning. This guy takes a bit longer, as he is teaching, instead of just doing.

My Dad and I used to catch hundreds with light Fly rods back in the 60s. It was good sport and the eating was great.
Thanks for stirring the memories.

White Perch populations benefit greatly from "catch and eat" fishing. They are prone to overpopulating a body of water. The best way to keep the population "eating size" and not stunted is to keep catching them and eating them.

So keep after them, and congrats on the good day fishing!

Nice going.
I certainly hope you practice the very politically correct method of fillet and release.....dale

White perch = white bass or sand bass here in Texas I believe. Very popular here for good reason. This time of year into the summer you can catch them schooling and feeding in shad. They can keep you very busy!

White perch are in the same family as white bass and stripers. Going again tomorrow.
